Dear All,
It's that time of year for the yearly subscriptions to be collected. In
line with the proposals at the AGM this year they will be £15 per player. Due
to the fact that we are a F.A. Charter Standard Club every player and parent
will have to read and sign the clubs code of conduct. Below is the clubs code
of conduct. It also means you
will be registered with the Surrey F.A. Once you have read it please fill in
the form below and return it signed, together a cheque (payable Nutfield
Youth) to either me (Tim Bellars) or to your manager as soon as possible.
- Play for the 'fun
of it' not just to please your parents or manager.
- Play by the Laws
of the game.
- Never argue with the referee or
assistants and control your temper.
- Be
a good sport, recognise all good play whether by your team or by your opponents.
- Treat all players, as you
yourself would like to be treated. Do not interfere with, bully or take
unfair advantage of any player.
- Co-operate with your manager,
teammates and opponents (without
them you would not have a game).
- Remember that the aims of the game are to have fun and improve your skills, so learn the laws of the game and you will be a much better football player.
Parents Code of Conduct:
- Do not force an unwilling
child to participate in football.
- Children are involved in
football for their enjoyment, not yours.
- Encourage your child to play
to the Laws of the Game and learn rather than argue with the referee and
other officials.
- Never verbally abuse your child
for making a mistake or losing a game.
- Children learn by example;
always applaud good play by your team or their opponents.
- Do not question the referees
judgement or honesty.
- Support all efforts to remove
verbal and physical abuse from children's football.
- Recognise the value and importance of club officials - they are all volunteers.
